Dream Board Blog

Did you know that by writing down your goals and dreams, you increase your chances of achieving them by 85%?  You may be saying to yourself, “yeh, right!”  My mentor and now friend shared that statistic with me 5 years ago this April.  At the time, I had just started a new business which I was excited and passionate about and, of course, wanted this business to replace the income of my current job.  My mentor was living the lifestyle I wanted so I decided it was well worth the few extra minutes this one simple step would require.  I immediately began writing my goals and dreams on colored post-its that I strategically placed at my desk, on my frig, in my car, on my blackberry, etc.  I even wrote them out across my bathroom mirror in my favorite lipstick shade!  Soon I found myself reaching for loftier goals because everything I was writing was becoming my reality.  No kidding.  In less than 12 months, I had not only replaced my “job” income, my yearly income had now become my monthly income.

Have you heard the saying you can determine your income by averaging the income of your five closest friends?  My new income put me into a new peer group and I was now surrounded by others who were “living big” because they “thought big.”   This was a new concept I quickly understood.  Success is not an accident.  In order to ”be successful”, you must “think successful!”   I soon realized how thoughts become things and the forward-thinking thoughts I had been holding the past year while writing out my goals had truly paid off.

It wasn’t long before I heard about dream boards and vision boards.  I started gathering with my friends to cut out beautiful pictures and words depicting the places we wanted to visit and our vision for our futures.  Over the next 6 months, each of my dream boards was replaced with another as goals and dreams were realized and new ones were being set.  I was finding it more and more difficult to find the time to pour through magazines looking for the perfect images and words and then cut them out and paste.  I also soon ran out of room to display and store these dream boards.

This wonderful site that you just landed on was the brain child of my sister, Jane, who was also achieving great successes of her own making dream boards but was also finding the old way of creating a dream board with cutting  and gluing time-consuming and cumbersome.  Thanks to this site, we are now able to dream bigger and manifest faster than we ever thought possible.

What dreams do you have?  In what area of your life would you like to increase your abundance?  Money, Health, Joy and Happiness, Love?  All of these?  You, too, can truly have your heart’s desire.  Life is a journey.  If the path you are currently on is not where you want to be – start dreaming of your new life.  Begin by uploading images and personal pictures of people, places, and things that make your heart sing and watch your dreams unfold.  I am cheering you on and look forward to hearing about your successes!

Love & Blessings,

Connie
